December

Okay, so have totally been swept up in the holiday mode, despite the fact that it's near 70 degrees outside today. We have been so busy in the last couple of weeks before Christmas, but still looking forward to holiday parties, cookies, concerts and of course, annual pajama day! (I could use a LITTLE snow, though!)

While wrapping some gifts the other night, I found myself thinking about thank yous and all of the fun that comes after the festivities and I don't know about you, but when it comes to writing the thank-yous, my memory just isn't as sharp as it used to be! I decided to create the following just in time! (Now, to remember to grab it on Christmas morning!)

The countdown is on!

Happy Friday everyone!

I felt the Christmas buzz while out doing errands today in our 68 degree weather, (It REALLY is December, right?) so I thought I would share one of our little traditions, even though it is the 3rd day of December- there is still time!

Enjoy this free Christmas countdown below. I change it up a little bit each year, as the kiddos get a bit older, but every year they remember and so, who am I to let them down? Ours uses two tags per day: One is for a fun activity and the other is something special to do or remember. Make it as simple or complicated as you desire.

The sheet below shows 12 examples of what we are doing this year and to get you started. Print these on a heavier weight or photo paper for durability, cut and organize. We set up ours in little gift card bags (that I scored at Target's After Christmas sale a few years bag) with a piece of candy for each of us. Be creative and use whatever you would like- little boxes, bags, stockings, socks, etc. The options are endless! Have fun!

WELCOME!!

Okay... I've been delaying this for quite some time, but finally with the support of my wonderful friends and family, and lots of questions, I am starting to dive head first into my own little creative online world. Yes, most of you know that I have a family blog already, but this one is different. The CreativiDee Workshop will focus on the little things that makes every woman's or mom's life easier, things I've found online or through others and those little designed things that are just so important to making life's memories better. This will include parties, home organizing, decorating, holidays, tips and hopefully lots of things to make you smile!

The actual CreativiDee Workshop website is still under construction as I type this, having to deal with a few glitches here and there, (that's life, right?) but will keep everyone posted as to when it will be up and running. Bear with me as I slowly develop these things, as my perfectionism tends to slow me down sometimes, but I am truly excited and know that this is the direction that I am meant to take right now. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

To celebrate this big day (at least for me!) I am sharing these files below that have helped me keep organized and sane (for the most part). Please feel free to print as many as you like, personalize them as you need and let me know what you think (seriously!), but please do not copy them. (They are copyright protected.) To print, click on link, download (lower right hand corner) and print.
